English as a
language is not easy to learn, especially for students of SMAN Baureno Bojonegoro, since English as new subjects, it is very complex for them. When they
learn the English language means students learn a new language which has some
differences in grammar with
their own language.
Many linguists say that every language has certain differences with the other languages. For examples, English and Indonesian language has some differences when they are compared. The differences are not found in the Indonesian language. For example, in English has some differences, such as: 1. Structure of language, 2. Tenses, 3. Spelling and pronunciation of words
All the differences are
not found in the Indonesian language and those will make the students difficult to study.
The achievement of teaching
aim is measured in the ability of the students’ evaluation results those are expressed in students’ test result. For a nation that
upholds the values of civilization, the Indonesian people cannot be separated in the issue of education; it has been obviously placed in the integral position of Indonesian existences. Thus from the beginning the education problem has been clearly
placed in the integral position
of Indonesian existences. In this case the education development for the intellectual
life of the nation is part of a national goal of Indonesian nation.
In this case, the effort of Indonesian
nation in realizing national
development focused on education, the role of education in human life has significant importance role, since education to develop
human personality in accordance with the values in the society. Reciprocation
of a nation or state is largely determined by whether or not an advanced
education.
We need to know, that the success of the national education is to create
harmony and balance of the nation's outlook on life in order to fill the
independence of Indonesia. National development is to build a whole
person, which includes aspects of building material and the spiritual, or the
totality of the human being.
So from the facts above, the writer made a
study of this class action research
entitled " Application of Integrative Methods For Improving Language Skill and Abilities To Response Text Content Of Story Orally at
Grade XII Class XII-IPS 1 SMAN 1 Baureno Bojonegoro Academic Year 2013/2014”
The aims and features of the Integrative
Methods Program
Understanding
Integrative Methods, Integrative
means unify several aspects into one process. Integrative divided into the same studies and between differen tstudies. The same studies
means some aspects are integrated in a single field of study. For example,
listening is integrated with speaking and writing. Writing is integrated with
speaking and reading. Linguistic material integrated with language skills.
While the language of fields of study is the integration of several fields of
study. For example, the English language with other subject areas.
In
English learning, integrative studies the same studies more widely used. When teaching the sentence, the
teacher does not directly hand to the students but the material begins with reading or the
other. Displacement is regulated thin. In fact, teachers are good at
integrating the delivery of material can cause the student does not feel the
movement of the material.
Integrative
is expected by the English curriculum for integrating applied in accordance
with the basic competencies that students need to be owned. The material is not
separated. Teaching materials is attractively packaged unity.
Understanding
the learning achievement, Achievement
